Hi! My name is gypsy, and I hail from San Antonio...no that does not mean I have a cactus garden <no offense <sp?> to anyone who does, that's just not my thing>, but I do keep Texas natives such as Texas Mountain Laurels , which are my second favorite <next to roses ^_^>, and they smell like [color=purple]grape kool-aid[/color]! ...lol... anyways, what to tell about me...hmmm...well, unlike the Mountain laurel, I am not native to Texas...I am actually an army brat, and was world traveled by the age of five! <== very proud of that ... any ways, the only things that have stayed constant in my life are my art, my love of cooking, animals, plants, and all things magickal <not necessarily in that order>...so it’s only natural now that I own my first house <squeak! ^_^>, that I keep an herb garden and a fairy garden <my friend's children find that part a lot of fun>, I haven't been in my house very long, but I did build it (@ the age of 20! Yay!) and that means lots of space for a BIG garden!!! I have lots of mature trees in the back and lots of sun in the front ... some of my ambitions are a pond system in the back and a small rose garden in the front! ...anyone who can offer advice on either would be most appreciated! ^_~ ... oh, and I should warn you guys, I s*ck @ spelling ... well, other than that ... Hi ^_^V

I do have a cactus garden, but I hate cactus! I was traumatized as a child living in Cuba... ...too many big cacti all over the place. The cactus garden was here when I moved here...my late ex-mother-in-law's...and it is sooo pretty when it blooms, but I'm scared of it bigtime...I hate those little hairy things that get on my skin. I can't see them and they hurt so bad.

*Tilts head confused* if you're scared of them, then why keep them? Thats neat that you came from Cuba!

Thank you! ^_^ It really is a challenge and can be a BIG headache...you built too? Did you get to go custom? If so how did you like it? Thats one of the only things about our builder that I didn't like was a lack of options >.< ...oh well,...
