Hi All. I'm happy to find this *free* site and looking forward to making new friends here.
I found you while researching trees...I'm deciding whether to plant a dogwood or a Japanese maple in my front yard.
I don't garden much between a bad back & taking care of grandchildren but I do what I can when I can. I tend to get urges and garden in spurts. Slow and not so steady, I guess you'd say.

I had to laugh when I read "slow and not to steady" I started out that way but now I'm gung-ho thanks to this site!!!I was always into house plants and made my way slow into the yard Now My Husband can't keep me in the house LOTS and Lots of info here and we also have a hobbies and crafts area as well and holidays are soooo much fun here there is lots to do year round!! BTW I also got my grandkids helping me and one has taken a particular interest in gardening now
