Hello everyone--

I'm looking forward to meeting all of you.

A little about me:

About my "displayed name", It's the only place in my life I can actually be a goddess---Gotta tell you though, I certainly don't look like the stereotypical "goddess" when I'm gardening. I'm all about doing away with stereotypes though!!!

I have one special needs child. A son, 8 years old. Extreme behavioral/emotional issues are his greatest challenge right now. Gardening has helped both of us cope with this challenge. It is great therapy for both of us!!! We just wish we could get my husband, his father more interested.

As for the garden, I would describe it as an ecclectic, boho mix of this, that and we're not sure. The garden started as a therapeutic outlet for me when I got my hands on a tiller. I went "a little" overboard with the tiller and have small gardens all over my backyard now. It's beautiful but could definitely benefit from some input from other gardeners. Since I'm quite isolated with my son's behavior issues, I thought finding a place on the "net" may be a good idea.

The last thing I'd like everyone to know is I don't know much about interacting on the net like this yet, so, I'm going to need some guidance and a lot of patience when trying to send pictures, attachments and the such.

I'm looking foward to this adventure.
