Hi everyone, am I ever glad I stubbled across this site. I am a housewife and mother of 3. I love houseplants and whenever I can get another one or tips on the ones I have I am very very happy. I live in a small town north west of Calgary. Winter this year has been very weird, we still have NO snow and it is the 18th of January! Well hope to talk to some of you soon. Hi Karen, i live in Ontario and we have had snow off and on, more off though the ski hills have opened but our grass was green, last night we did get snow and it is snowing right now. I agree with you, isn't this site the best and everyone is so friendly and helpful. What kind of plants do you have or what do you like? Chat soon... Penny

Hi there Karen, Stay at home mom here as well. Twice the kids and half the time to garden. Hoping all that changes this year since they are all walking now! Hope to see you soon!

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. You may have already read in the houseplants and seeds section I have a fire in our house and am frantic and just sick. I lost ALL my plants and well... dont know where to start over! I have gotten some response from other members here and you all are just fantastic.
