Hey folks, just thought I'd stop in and say hi. I've been reading the messages here for a while but I've finally just signed up. I'm an amateur gardener (my wife is the pro) but I'm slowly getting more and more into it, since I find it pretty darn relaxing. Plus it's something my wife and I can do together, since I can't seem to interest her in MY main hobby, which is golf, lol.
Anyhow nice to be here...

hi yall', i'm really new, i've already messed up, i'm still tryin to find my way around here,i do like this forum alot.i'm a gardener from way back but still learnin,i love bein out in the dirt which ruin my hands for quiltin ,my other obcesssion.thanks for havin me,molly

Sewnmom, I know exactly what you mean gardening and my other passion, sewing, do not go well. Often I have to wash the dishes for awhile before I can even think about sewing to try and get the dirt out of my hands. I have also taken to wearing disposable gloves while gardening, they work out pretty good and I buy a box of 100 from walmart in the painting/hardware section.
