I am new.

I've been into plants for many years, have recently chamged lifestyles which allows me to add to my collection.

The weather up here has been a tease recently, being in the 50s for a few weeks, and I've been looking forward to starting a new garden in my new residence. The weather will obviously soon drop to the 20s and I'll have to wait a few months to start.

I have a small Blood Banana(Musa Sumatrana) pup that is looking pretty bad and it's a bummer. I got it in the mail on friday. I'm hoping it perks up soon.

I have an extensive hosta collection up at my cottage.

Covered in tattoos, I don't really look like your typical horticulture guy, and get odd looks at garden shows and nurseries.

I hope this forum is a good place to talk plants and get help when I'm stumped.

If anyone has advice on my musa sumatrana, I'd love some.

I cannot help you with your banana. They grow like weeds here in So California and I'm more interested in how to get rid of them. But I wanted to welcome you to a great place to ask your questions and say hi. Some one around here may be able to help you out.

Hi there donefortherest and welcome to the forum! No idea on your banan tree also but pop a question down in houseplants and I am sure that someone will be able to help you! I just discovered hostas this year and am looking forward to adding them to my new garden as well. Hope to see you hanging out around the forum.
