I am so excited about finding this site. I am not a green thumb person but something wonderful has happen to my selloum (split leaf phy) and I would like to know if anyone can tell me about it. I have two planted about 6 to 8 feet apart. They are about 23 years old. Just this past weekend I saw a "fruit-bloom-?" on it. It is about 12 to 15 inches long, the fruit or whatever inside the cover is long, white, soft to the touch but hard underneath. There are about 8 to 10 of them but only the one was opened. The next day it had almost closed itself up and now it is closed all together. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks
