I live in the Hudson Valley of NY and am on my second year of vegetable gardening. I am being much more organized AND ambitious (this year's first tomato should be worth a fortune!) this year, having learned an enormous amount last year when I made lots of mistakes, but enjoyed some fabulous produce fresh and (from the freezer) throughout the winter. My favourite was providing several homegrown dishes for the family's Thanksgiving meal.
This year I've alloted more space and planned all winter and am actually starting seeds, myself (some flowers, too), though I only have one grow light (why are they so expensive?!?) and have to rotate seedlings. So, I have much exploring to do here and look forward to learning from everyone.
