Hello! I just found this forum today. I've been gardening on and off for as long as I can remember. My parents always had a garden when I was a kid.

We just bought a house with an acre yard, so this spring will be our first where we can have a garden. I plan on doing raised beds. Our kids are doing their own gardens and are having fun going through all the seed catalogs.

I live in Michigan and right now, we are having unseasonably warm weather.

I look forward to picking everyone's brains!!

Michelle

Welcome Michelle, we love sharing our ideas and receiving them too. Please ask away and enjoy yourself here.
Is your land a blank slate or do you have any established plantings to start with? An acre is a lot to work with. Please have fun with us.
