That is such a fitting description of our forum, LoveLilac! It's like a family here...a very close family. When one of us hurts, we all hurt...and when one of us is celebrating something, we all celebrate it! My best friends in the world are right here on the forum.
So glad you joined us! I hope you drop down into the Banter Hall and get to know us...we hang out down there in the Coffeehouse and talk about our day.
Welcome to the forum! Nice to meet you!

Hello! I too, am from the houston area, and this is my first post. It seems like a great site, and I am excited about knowing that I can get answers to some of my questions! Thanks so much. By the way, the first question I have is: How can I actually produce avocados? The area is perfect, but I have been told that growing from a seed will not produce fruit. Any help> thanks, mamasee.

Hello everyone, This is Deepanwita from Houston. I have recently started my patio garden during my spring break. I have zinnia, marigold, hibiscus, begonia, rose, and some tomatoes and peppers. Hope to interact with you all very often as I'll seriously need guidance from time to time. I am a novice at this. My patio faces the west. Is that too bad for the plants I planted? I would appreciate any help. Thanks Deepanwita
