Hello everyone! My name is Cassy and I live in the south suburbs of Chicago, IL. I'm 21 and I just moved into my first apartment which has a lovely balcony. When I saw it for the first time I decided that I wanted to start a little garden. I've never planted a garden before so I haven't a clue what I'm doing. I'm hoping that I'll be able to learn from everyone here so I can create a garden on my mostly shady little balcony (it faces south and is in an indent of the building that blocks off most of the light from the east and west). I'm looking forward to meeting some nice people!!!

Welcome to the Forum! I guess you're one of my northern neighbors because I live in Illinois about 20 minutes from St. Louis. You're going to love it here and you'll learn a lot too! Check out the forum on Container Gardening.
Have a BEAUTIFUL day!
