Hello, I'm new here to the forum. I love gardening, even as a child I loved it. One of my many favorite plants are Iris. I live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and we have been having a drought for the last few months. It will be an interesting spring if the drought continues. I have 3 dogs & there's a ton of squirrels that live in the area, which always makes for a challenge in the garden. I found the forum by googling jade plant. I'm always looking for new info about gardening.

Hi! I just signed up and am not even sure how to get involved from this point. I would like to know some about plants since I just bought my first home (solo) and am now in complete charge of the planting.

I feel like plants and I are like oil and water so I'll be happy to call on all you to help me. Mary Jayne

Welcome to the forum, July Girl and MJM... [wavey]

MaryJayne...
There are many different forums here.
Look through them on the main forum page , and post a question in whatever forum best corresponds to what you are dealing with.
There is also a search box at the top of the page where you can type in something...say you want to read about a certain plant, just type that plant name there.

You'll get the hang of it in no time! [thumb]

welcome to you both [wavey]

you will meet lots of folks who really know what they are talking [teacher] about and some (like me) who sort of know what they are talking about [dunno] , tour the forum, get acquainted, make some new friends [gabby] and find lots of answers to your questions [clappy] . This is a great place to be for beginners or advanced gardeners. [flower] [flower] [flower]
