Author Garden: Hi everyone! nomadtrish Gardener Member # 8076 posted                    My name's Trish and I've just joined. I live and work in Oman in the Middle East. I love gardening and am lucky to have a very large garden. It was a fairly blank canvas when we moved in but it's looking good now (2 years later). Both my husband and I love gardening and find it really therapeutic. I was amazed at how many plants are available here and how quickly everything grows. The biggest battle is keeping everything watered when the summer temperatures soar to over 50 degrees Centigrade. We are from Australia and have been in the Middle East for 15 years. I have planted over 500 different plants in the last two years, but the ones that grown abundantly here are mainly bouganvillea, hibiscus, frangipani and jasmine. My "specials" are adeniums (desert roses), palms and ferns, but I just love all plants. I am very much a novice with the Internet but I think I have managed to put some of my photos on Photobucket and I think this is the link I'm not sure if I've done this right!
