My daughter-in-law came running up the stairs (they live with us) about an hour and a half ago to announce that her water just broke! They have rushed off to the hospital now and while I was typing, my son called in with an update. My first granddaughter, third grandchild, Chloe Michelle, should be born in the next few hours. Guess I'll be up later than usual tonight waiting on the news. All my crocheting and knitting is about to come to fruition!

OK, I can be tolerant & patient here, cuz when my water broke with Lincoln on May 20, 19XX ...he didn't show his face for 26 hours!

"Ouch", "agghhh", "ouch again", for Mommy...
but " " for Daddy & the rest of the crew-in-waiting!

It's only been 5 hours since your post Thorny, but just so you know, I'm with you in spirit. (HANG IN THERE, GRAMPA!)

Chloe is her second child. I got about 8 hours sleep last night. I usually got to bed anywhere from 2-4 AM and get up about 10-11 AM.

My "new" bundle is 5 weeks old today, & other than a video of her 2 weeks ago, I haven't received any snapshots since she was 20 days old!

(Except for the ones that are downloading at this very minute! Shelly's pics are HUGE... bigger than my monitor, so it takes forever. Then I have to resize everything so I can see them!) [Roll Eyes]

Things must be pretty busy at his house... I just hope everything is OK!

I'm well aware of that Wrennie, cuz just like everybody else, I read his first post where he said, "(they live with us)..."
