I have a small 2 bedroom house Keith I and my 3 boys.. Bunk beds Rock!! But if I would of had a Girl I would of turned my Dining room into a bedroom for her.. Then portioned off my living room for dining room.. I just love my house even though it is small!!

Rita - That's exactly how I feel. I love this house. We'll see as time goes by... how things go. It won't happen until after the baby is here. I was thinking of bunk beds, but feel that maybe my boys are too little. Couple of questions- how safe do you feel they are? I know they have sides to them- but have your boys ever rolled off the top bunk? That's what makes me the most nervous about them. Thanks

I won't let my youngest sleep on top... ohhhhhhhhhh nooooooooooo... He get's up in the middle of the night yet, and I don't want him being half asleep and forget he's up high..
I still worry, about catching a foot on a blanket or something.. but I have to have a bunkbed, or I'd be having to have one of them sleep on the couch everynight..Which ain't happenin'..

We have had bunks longer than I can remember. I am pretty sure we got them when Patrick was 4 and Zack 3. Patrick on top. Right now Jonny is the youngest up on top and he is 4. None have ever fallen off in the middle of the night but Patrick did fall off once while horsing around on them.

Oh yeah, he was fine. I think it actualyl scared me more than him. Kids make a loud noise when they fall like that. He was off the floor before I ever made it to the room.

Can you believe I'm 11 weeks already?!? I have a second doctor's apt on Moday- hopefully they'll be able to hear his/her heartbeat on the doppler. It always blows me away to hear the heart beat.

Mitchell is only 2 and is fine on the top bunk.. Nervous Yes all the time..Boys like to horse around..He has never fallen in the night. Of Course you will have a few years with the crib as well.. You must be excited..that first heartbeat is soo comforting isn't it!!
