PS thats my neighbors house, yard, driveway across the street. You usually cant even see the stream from where I took the picture. The middle one is a campground. Theres usually a 10-15 foot drop down to the Esopus creek

Those are some wild pics. Stay safe! Are you ready to head out if you need to? How close is your home to all that water?

I'm pretty close. My house is right on the road. My front "yard is about 6 feet then road. Its...well here: Thats my garage, my house is about as close to the road. The paved part is road not driveway. Neighbors driveway is right cross from the garage and is where I took the top & bottom pics.
Then its uh, about 100 feet to the water. BUT the sun has come out, right along with the humidity. the water is off neighbors grass but the streams are still very high. ps this picture is a few weeks old

Well at least the sun is out. Hopefully it will stay out long enough for the streams to all go down and get you all out of danger!

I've been following the flooding on the news and it's terrible! I remember when we had the 'Great Flood' here and it was really sad to see all the damage it did.
My heartfelt prayers go out to everyone who is affected by the flooding and to the families of those who have lost their lives!

The city I live in is getting flooded also. The Schuylkill River is over 10 feet above flood stage and I think the river is supposed to reach it's final hieght tonight around 8. The local community college is totally under water and alot of people have had to evacuate. We live on a hill, so we were lucky...we just watched the water rush down the street!

Glad all is well with you hisgal. I got off easy compared to what I saw on the news. They showed a house float down a river upstate from me! Last year, here, a house slid down a cliff into a stream bed from a flood. More rain today. We'll see what happens.....
