Triss suggested I start a thread to make it easy to follow up on the progress in the bathroom. Good idea, Triss - thanks!
So, taking off from where I posted these in the CH, the first 2 pictures are from this morning when Don first started the tiling. First few tiles in... Not too happy about having to mug for the camera... Getting serious about getting the glass tile straight - the laser line did not come out in the picture... Not minding posing this time, but getting tired...
Making good progress...

Tanks for starting this Lynne, now we can keep track of all the goings on over there!

He finished the row of glass last night. Now he starts the brick sized tile on the top, I think.
loz - I got the new faucets at Lowes too. We're keeping the old double sink top, but it's about time they got new faucets - everytime we turn on one of the old plastic ball type, it leaks out from under the ball all over the counter - YUCK! Now the shower faucet and sink faucets will be new, and match - brushed nickel - very popular here these days, and a nice change.

That's great Lynne!!! I love brushed nickel...when we redid the kitchen that's what I picked out for the faucets....looks very nice!
We need a new bathroom sink top....ours is old and brown with white swirled in and it's all cracked near the drain.....I can't wait to get rid of it for a new one...but everything in due time right?
Get Don back to work! Tell him that you're the foreman and you said his break was over.
I used to do that to my dad when I was little...to keep me entertained he'd make me the foreman of his projects....

Amy's side of the double sink is also very cracked by the drain, but it's not in the budget for us now either. We can live with it that way for a while more. The reason for the whole project though, is that the old tub was leaking through the kitchen ceiling below!!! So, that area will all be replaced, and the floor.
Still haven't decided what to do with the walls. I found some very pretty paint in Lowes yesterday - it had tiny bits of mica mixed in to give it a little teensy bit of sparkle, and texture, but none of the colors spoke to me. There is a color that is the exact same as the glass tile, but I think that will make the room look too dark...?

It might look good lynne. Bathrooms are much more forgiving to being dark since you can always put in really bright lights.

Thought I'd give you an update picture of Don's progress. He just finished the center tiles. Now, below the last square tile will be a row of the green glass in 1 inch square tiles. Below that and above the larger glass tiles will be the tannish brick sized tiles in brick-work design.
The space in the center of the picture is for a corner soap shelf.
