I recently moved to this part of NY, and am lucky enough to have some established gardens and lots of space for new planting. I've discovered that they don't call this ROCKland County for nothing, and I've been having great fun with container planters for delicates like calla lilies and dahlias (who really wants to dig bulbs up and replant them every year??).
I've already seen lots of great stuff - I look forward to contributing my little tips and tricks.

HEY - you stole MY line!!! Just teasing you, but I've been saying that exact phrase for years - ever since we moved into our house 13 years ago!!!
So... which nurseries have you discovered already? I know most of them within driving distance - here in NY, and in NJ. What other kinds of gardening are you interested in?
Can you tell us a little more about yourself?
How exciting to have a member in my own backyard! Looking forward to getting to know you better... Lynne
