I was fixing to put Lola in bed and I walked over to something new I bought yesterday (a tablecloth) that she is afraid of and she flew off...went to the chair at the dining table. So, I went in there to get her and she had her back turned to me, and I bent down and it scared her again...and she bit me. Right on the lip! It is bleeding so bad I can't even tell if I need stitches or not. I've soaked a washcloth with blood already.
Lola just flew in here and is standing on my head now crying. She didn't mean to hurt me...and I should have known better to sneak up on her after she had just gotten so scared.

Lola is in bed. I just about have the bleeding stopped enough to put some butterflies on my lip. Man, I look like Angelina Jolie!
What happened was... I was fixing to sit down in the floor with Lola, and I had forgotten that I had a new tablecloth laying in the chair that I had taken out of the package to look at today. I had even put Lola in her cage before I got the tablecloth out earlier because I knew it would scare her...then forgot to pick it up after I had gotten back from town. When she flew off to the chair after it scared her I walked in the room she was in and was bending down to kiss her on the head from behind, and she didn't hear me...so when I touched my lips to her head it scared her and she bit me. She immediately started crying and saying "I love you!" I felt worse for her than I did for myself.
I hated putting her to bed, because I didn't want her to think she was being punished. It was my fault, not hers.

I'm back again. I went to lay down for awhile. Then got awakened by a bunch of kids stompin through the house. One of my own and two friends, but it sounded like a bunch. That's ok, I didn't really want to sleep yet. I'd miss Friday night In the coffeehouse. ~Tina

Uh no, I used a bunch of Roundup though, Shhh, don't tell the organic gardeners. I couldn't accomplish much without it. I garden on acres, not beds. ~Tina

Rachel said she has used Super-Glue on cuts before. I tried it a few years ago when I cut my hand really bad but it was my right hand...and I never could get the Super-Glue where it needed to be. I'm not too good with my left hand... So, I was trying to get the cap off with my mouth and got Super-Glue on my lip...well, a little acetone worked on that but it burned a lot.
What was I talking about, anyway?
Oh, yeah...Super-Glue on my cut...but never could get it in the right place. Gee...it took the long way to say that, didn't it?

I have (in one episode) glued a phone to my hand, the phone to my ear, and my butt to the counter...on another occasion, shot it into my eye...on a third, glued my hand to my face...
Mike took it away after that. Wonder why?

I was glueing something while I was talking on the phone, and mom wouldn't let me leave the kitchen while I was on the phone, so I always sat on the counter. I still don't know how I got superglue there, but I did. I'm talented...kinda like the coke on the ceiling today.

I bought Teddy this little bird in a cage that is sound activated. It just tweets and turns inside the cage. I gave it to him a few minutes ago and showed him how to clap and activate it. He's having a blast. ~Tina
