We just got word that our area has received 6 ft and 4 inches of the white stuff so far. The usual snowfall is between 5 to 8 ft(we've gotten milder winters in the past years.). We are expected to get well over 12 ft at this rate. Time to buy new crazy carpets this week.

Shush Jamie!! If you get snow, I'll have twice as much. I know, I've been spoiled by all the nice weather, but I've just been getting so much work done outside, I don't want to see it end!

I want snow too. I'd get even more than you, Terry. I'm just thinking of all of the bugs we're gonna have if it doesn't get cold soon!! We haven't gotten much snow here at all....maybe 16 inches total. Way less than our normal snow fall. I think that we're going to get slammed in March.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the bugs. I've seen more ticks on my cats in the last few weeks than I saw all last summer! I've been wondering about the Japanese beetles too.

I haven't seen those....well, I don't really look for them as our cats all stay inside. But we are seeing ALOT of those awful stink bugs....the wide ones that look like a shield. Ugh! I HATE those! They are in our bedroom....much like how ladybugs act. They just walk around and then fly aimlessly. I hate waking up with them in my hair and stuff! UGH!!!

Here in Sarnia, Ontario...I've had to shovel snow only once. Have been very lucky this year. It's not uncommon at all that all the schools get closed, highways get closed, etc. There's always a time where I can't make it to work (bummer hasn't happened this year). But I don't want it. Too much work, too cold and very dangerous driving!! Road conditions don't usually stop Canadians from travelling and I shiver everytime I hear sirens going.

Wellllllll... we're supposed to have 3 ft. But currently there's a fine layer on the ground with a nice blazing hot sun over us with no clouds in view. Its like 50 out right now o.O

It's in the 50's here today too....maybe near 60. We haven't had anywhere near the amount of snow as we usually get....I mean someyears we get 3 feet at once...and this year our biggest snowfall so far has been 6-7 inches.

Tamara I don't envy you one bit...As much as I love snow, I don't like THAT much snow.....3-4 inches here and there is fine with me. [thumb]

WE got a couple inches yesterday but it is mostly melted off again. We had about a foot during December but a bunch of rain since. It snows once a week or so but doesn't stick. To be honest, I would rather have snow than mud/muck!!!!
