Well...it was a fluke deal...the relator had NOT returned my call (and we were suppose to meet with her yesterday) So...I just marched (actually drove) (but it was like marching) to her office and watched for her car (a jag to be exact) pull in...WOO HOO~IEEEE... Well...she had it all worked up so I told her that I just HAPPENED to have time to look at it RIGHT THEN.... We are going to end up being able to do the repairs and NOT be out anyy additional money...as a matter of fact, it is looking like we may not be aout as much as we had originally planned from the start!!! The closing date is set for Feb 21st..however...that can (and will) be moved up. It was just set at that to give the financer some time to lolly gag around. BUT...I have his # now so... he's gonna be so tired of me by the end of the week that HE will want to move it up I ma sure!!!!
I HAVE PAPERS IN HAND.....with my signiture on them....the next set, will have the seller's signature....

I don't know Tina...so many of you have hung with me through so much of this transiton stuff I am sure there are MANY that are gonna be glad for me to get settles and quick whining around!!! I promise faithfully that is this worked out I would compplain about a THING from this point on!!! Yes this is the house we wanted..and I was getting REALLY scared because for a while it wasn't looking like it was gonna work out...WHEW!!!! I was NOT at ALL planning on this news today...which makes it all the better. I gathered that the sellers were gonna make us haggle it out for another week or so...this was a BIG SURPRISE!!! Darin was equally as surprised when I called him..now he KNOWS I'm gonna work his little tail off..
Thank YOU ALL for all the support and encouragement on this deal!!! You guys are so wonderful to ALWAYS encourage and me and keep me lined out...and I REALLY have needed it...

Well, ya know what Triss...I REALLY feel like this is the begining....we will start to get really settled in, be able to do the house like we want...not to mention that we will get to have a lot of it "done" for us and that in itself will take a HUGE load off of me...since I am the Master carpenter, painter & floor layer around here. Peanut will have a MUCH nicer playroom than ever...and I think he will settle down more. We can see the school from our front yard..so I can watch him play without distracting him...(I might have to use binoculars to pick him out though) And..once we get the initial move over...we wont ever have to do that again. I have unpacked only the dire neccessities here to keep from having to re~pack and plus the lack of room wouldn't allow me to. So...this is gonna be like Heaven...

Thanks Sybil...we are so very excited...and ANXIOUS to get in a real house after the tin can ordeal... I know for sure that a person can survive in about any situation given...that just doesn't mean it is fun...at ALL!!! We have made it through the tin can experience and will NEVER take for granted what situation can and do turn out to be sometimes.
I had to PROMISE hub that I would decorate for Christmas next year.. SHEESH...see how bad I wanted the house!!!

Well Shari..you will just have to bust, cry or (think to yourself) with the rest of us....you know as awsome as the whole thing is...it has made it 100 times more special going through this with my forum family! It's times llike this that you really realize just how close and dependant I have become to you all!!! Quite addicting place here! I was thinking about when Triss had to move such a long distance and how when we didn't get to talk to here or hear from her for so long how disturbing it was to "not know" how things were going...when I finally broke down and tried to get her on the cell, she just happened to be in the shower and MAN...did I ever talk Dan's ear off and ask a million questions...I know he was thinking .."who is this very NOSEY crazy woman"..I should have just let him keep thinking I was from Arizona!!!!

vanessa I am soooo happy for you!! it seemed like nothing was gonna work out for you in the beginning but thankfully you had friends and someone up above working with ya! congrats!
And I am forever grateful for that G~Mom...I just wish he would "let me in" on the PLAN sometimes...this wondering around blindly has just about done me in this round. But thankfully the biggest hurdle are behind me now...I hope!!! I am frantically working on getting utilities turned on..then I can get some better pics of the inside for you all...

Okay...the GREAT update..
The financer guy (my new best friend ) called and told me what he needed ...I told him I would bring it to him in the morning...he said he didn't have an open apptointment in *9the morning..I said "that's okay, I don't mind...I will just meet you when you come in to the office... " he didn't know WHAT to say!!! So..I now HAVE an appointment in the morning... So...once he does this paperwork stuff...we are on the road. He said I needed to make sure and check with the seller's that they wouldn't MIND moving up the closing date...I ASSURED him they wouldn't ( I have no idea who these people are..don't even know their names) but...like I have said before...by the time I get through harrassing everyone...ALL envolved will will quite HAPPY to get the closing moved up...to SOON!!!! Darin was so happy when I was telling him all the news....he said..."I can't wait for Thanksgiving...we are having it in your new dining room"...he loves it!
I told him & Lisa to not make ANY plans from now till the END of February....I am gonna work their tales off!!! His birthday is in Feb...and he said we could have his party at the new house...I assure him we could..it will be a PAINTING party!!!! He wasn't real thrilled with that one!

Well...after I met the finance guy yesterday things are rollin! He was an absolutely pleasant and very helpful person and is gonna try to speed things up! He was turning in paperwork after we left and getting the appraisal on the go yesterday afternoon....so starting Monday...we are fonna be flyin!!!
It was such a happy day for me!!!
