I was with a couple of misbehavin' fella's!
I told them to get a ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't take these to anywhere!!!!!!!!! so I had to seperate them. And gave Matthew some tough love!

Matthew needed to charge his phone in Jimmy's Truck, so we just hung out outside for a while, and chatted making sure he had everything he needed (AH MOM he forgot his toothbrush) and was telling us about his friend coming back from Iraq, I told him to tell his friend I'm proud of his service to our country He assured me he would!.. Dallas really looks nice at night a lot of the buildings are lit up I really wish I would have taken more Pic of the City but was on our way home when I thought I should have gotten more: I couldn't get the whole building in this shot with Matthew...
BTW there was a little shop In the Bus Station where he DID purchase a toothbrush
About time for us to leave.. got a couple of more pic. Jimmy said it was almost midnight But I told them both it was okay I didn't wear my glass slippers tonight not to worry!!!
As Jimmy is pulling way from the curb with our last good bye Matthew is walking along side his truck hanging on to my hand I told him if he didn't let go I would get arrested for Armed robbery should Jimmy go any faster with that we got one more good laugh out of Matthew as we waved good bye and C- ya Later's.....
This is a pic of the American Airlines Center not a clear one but with all the construction going on and detours we made full circle around that building they have concerts, sporting events, etc there.
The circle( Ball) above the building( Blocks away) is a resturant on top of a building that revolves ,pretty cool, and very expensive!!
Once again it was a joy to spend a little time with Matthew, He just seems so happy and full of Life, Jiffy!! thank you for the starter Plants, windchimes and pot holding Willys.. I've never had luck with Jade but I have a feeling this time will be different and it will grow strong and proud!!

Diane!!! What wonderful pictures of 3 terrific friends!!!
It warms my heart to wake up to this, this morning - thank you thank you for sharing them! Matthew DOES look very well, as do you and Jimmy! I'm so glad you got to hang out together for some quality time. And those two - two peas in a pod, huh?
The buildings there look very nice! How tall is the one that got cut off in the picture? One of the World Trade Towers also had a revolving restaurant on the top floor. We took some out of town guests to see it the night before our wedding - umpteen years ago - I could only stay there a few minutes! Even though it revolved extremely slowly, it was making me nauseous!
Will you get a chance to visit with Matthew again on his way back home? That would be a double treat for you all!

I don't know how tall it is Lynne But there are taller ones than that there...
I believe Matthew has a different route home, I don't think he's coming thru Dallas.. yes Lynne Those two are like two peas in a pod,, and SILLLLLLLLLLY!!!!! This time they didn't pick on me so much Mostly just clowned around and had me cracking up!!! !
So, what time did y'all-2 get back home? I hope you weren't dragging too bad today at work.
I got home around 1:30 but the drive home gave me my "second wind" so I stayed up and posted, returned emails, washed dishes looked at the clock and by this time it was 3:47, My alarm goes off at 4:30 It would have been realy bad news for me to only sleep 45 minutes, so I stayed up haven't been to sleep yet .At work I was fine untill about 3ish this afternoon, got off work at 4:30 my second wind is leaving and I'm not fighting it this time .. but you know what Patty it was worth it , A tall glass of Good laughs, with good People is good for the soul and worth a few hours lack of sleep .. And if It were My child coming in with a few hours layover I'd want someone to go be there for them too!

To answer a few of your questions. Patty we left Dallas after 12:00 am I got in bed close to 2:00. Lynne the Hampton Inn is around 1oo stories high. Like Diane said it is far from the tallest. Some are around 300 stories high. AAC is where all the Dallas Stars play Hockey and the Dallas Mavericks Basketball as well as holding conventions etc. there. The Ball in the background is Reunion Tower over Reunion Arena that use to house what AAC does now. They are deciding wether or not to tear it down some including the Mayor wants to make a gambling casino if they legalize gambling outside of horse racing here. If I remember right it cost $100.00 to ride the elevator to the top of the tower and visit the very exclusive restaurant. It was good to see Matthew again. Jiffy thsnks for the plants and the butterfly windchimes and Willys.

Jimmy, did you have to work today? At least you went to bed when you got home! Young whipper-snapper that Dianne seems to be, she can probably handle it better than we could (but trust me, girlie, it'll catch up... with a vengeance, complete with wrinkles & baggy lower lids!!)
Sheeze! I wouldn't suspect that there's a very long wait for tables in that revolving restaurant if it costs that much just to get to the top, so I can't blame them for wanting to tear it down! (Is it paid for? They imploded the King Dome in Seattle ...that the tax payers hadn't finished paying for & made a parking lot there, for another stadium!) I think it only costs $5 to ride the elevator to the top of the Space Needle, & that restaurant revolves too. (My Mom was up there having breakfast with a local morning TV show when the nasty earth quake hit in '65... & my Dad was on a boat in Lake Union, right underneath it, watching it sway!)
ANYWAY....

I'd say it was worth it! (It was for us, too!) Now quit fighting it & go to bed before you get wrinkles!!
