...I fall in the pond on a regular basis, unfortunately. It wasn't so bad with the last pond...just a matter of getting soaked...but this new one is BIG, and I have to swim out of it!
I'm glad you enjoy the forum, faerywatcher! It really is addicting!

Thanks everyone! Hey Thornius, faerywatcher told me about your being sort of in our neck of the woods. Small world for sure. Guess you are familiar with Garrs and Ponds by David? Were you around years ago when there was "the bird lady" in Mt. Juliet??? I was there a couple of times taking injured birds to her and it was really quite a set up. Most of my hummers are gone for the season and I am soooo sad:(

My hummers are gone, too. I had four females this summer. I've seen the Pond builder in Mt. Juliet but didn't know the bird lady. Garr's Feed and Seed is the BIG birding supply place in Mt. Juliet now, but I usually use TSC or Krogers for my Bird Feed and Dollar Tree, Big Lots, or Dollar General, or Walmart to buy my feeders.

As of today there are still 4 hummers here. Each morning I hope they will be here just one more day! Yeah, I buy my seed at TSC and my feeders wherever! Do you watergarden? Garrs rocks! They are always so helpful and can supply tons of information on just about anything about birds or watergardening. And I LOVE Needhams nursery! Seems to be a lot of good stuff in Mt. Juliet:)
