I also like to do abstracts with the mouse in my paint program (it's much easier than the drawing)

I haven't done much of anything for a while.

I have some more of these in my Photobucket. I would share that with you if I knew how. Can you tell me?

When I paint with brushes I always did oils, but not in a long time. Have never been able to do water colors, it's just seems backwards from using oils and I can't do it.

I have been wanting to try do something with acrylics, but can't buy the supplies yet.

I remember years ago doing some detailed pencil drawings of birch trees in the snow as a set of three; my boss saw them and wanted them so I framed them and gave them away. That's what has happened to most everything I had.

I do have one or two oils which I will have my son take pictures of sometime so I can get them into my computer and then you can see them. I gave the rest of those away, too! Stupid [Eek!]

Thanks. Is that the shards of glass? That one has a wierd story. I did most of my drawings and abstracts as soon as my son got me my first computer, which was 6 or 7 years ago. Since then, oh, in the last 2 or 3 years, my daughter-in-law and I went to an animated movie and something was shattered and they made the scene look almost like my drawing! She and I turned and looked at each other at the same time. It was kind of freaky! [scaredy]

Must be, there is no name on it but that is what it looks like. Though my first thought was lots of children clamoring for the attention of mommy.

Do you want your Photobucket link in your signature line, under your signature button...like some have it?
Or are you wanting to know how to post individual pictures?

Let me know and I'll help you.

Yes, please, a link under my sig. button. I made two sub folder there for the drawing and the abstract. When I moved the pictures into those sub folders it said they wouldn't link. I hope it's wrong!

How did you go there? Could Chenno?

No...they won't link if you move the pictures in Photobucket.

I got there by deleting some of the address and going straight to your Photobucket, then looked for the pictures.

Thank you for being responsible for getting my photobucket under my signature! [wavey]

Now my question is: if it's not linked because I moved them into subfolders does that mean I can't get one put into a post? I'm not sure what
not being linked means. [dunno]

afgreyparrot, may I practice here with you? I clicked on one of the URL's and will paste it here and see if it works.

http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q136/Shirley4_album/Abstract%20w%20Mouse/ph-10322.jpg

Well there is the url. I don't know if when I click Add Reply if that's what will be there or if the picture will be.

If this works, then what isn't it linked to?

OK...if you had clicked the "Image" button in the Full Reply Form, and pasted that url in the box that pops up, you would have a picture there instead of just the link.

 -

Make sure if you use the "Image" button you backspace over the blue "http:" that shows up in the box.

What I do to add a picture is...

In Photobucket there are 3 lines under the thumbnail of the picture.
(Url, Tag and Img)
I click the word "Img" and it turns the line beside it blue.
Then right click on that blue line, then paste it directly in my post.
If you do that you don't have to click the Image button in the full reply form.
You can just add it right in the Quick Reply form that way.
