I have just bought a house and the previous owner planted gladiolas (sp?) in the front lawn. I want to move them to a more appropriate place. When is the best time to dig up the bulbs and re plant them.

I have gladiola's in in front garden. But I have not dug mine up. (I forget [Embarrassed] ) but they have still flowered the following year!!
