Hi everyone. It's been forever since I was in here last, but I have been soooo busy. I found some of my artwork, and thought I would share it with all of you. This is a colored pencil drawing of a Painted Bunting...I think. Anyway, enjoy it...I do!

Self taught, actually. I have a degree in Commercial Art, but the talent is what made me do that. I started drawing Silver, out of my Lone Ranger coloring books when I was 7. (I never actually colored in those books, either...just drew the the pictures onto another piece of paper...lol) There is a down side to obsessing over details...I drive myself nuts if it doesn't look perfect.

Oh, I LOVE Prismacolor pencils...the colors blend oh so nicely. However, at 3 bucks per pencil, and mine seem to have gone A.W.O.L., Crayola and Roseart do the trick. Did I mention how much I LOVE Prismacolors?...lol
I found the rose bush. The photo turned out a bit fuzzy and it looks warped (the dangers of taking a picture of a flat item), but as soon as photobucket gets done chewing on it, I'll put it on.
