Every year I make a craft at Christmas time. I have not even started the one that I am making this year but it shouldn't take too long. I just thought I would share some pictures of ones that I have made. I make one for myself and more for friends and family. I just love to do it! Enjoy!

These are bookends......but I just put them out and don't have any books between them yet!

Well, the spindles from the 2nd one I bought at Menards...I'm not sure if they have Menards everywhere...but it is like Home Depot. All of the other wood I have somebody cut for me. I am fortunate enough to know somebody that has all of the equipment that can do all of that for me. And everything else I get at Wal-Mart, Michaels....stores like that.

I'm glad you like them! I just love to make them! This year I am making a Santa. I will post that pic when I get them finished. My wood is all cut and ready to start painting. I will probably wait until the weekend to work on them!

I have actually thought about selling some of them Triss because I have had people ask me if I would sell them.......but I think that would take all of the fun out of it. I like to give them as gifts. You never know.....I might change my mind! [dunno]

It does not take all the fun out especially if you are doing it on YOUR time and not on a clock. I have made extras of things I do for the family and sold them, makes for some extra cash during the holidays.

Oh that would be a good idea Penny! Never thought of that! I made 7 of those 1 year and I filled them all with the same stuff. I liked the lights in it! But, I will have to see what a pointsettia would look like!!!
