Vinegar 10%, hot water 90% and a squeegee works great for me on the windows. Get a good squeegee though, the cheap ones just aren't worth it. Member # 6964 posted                    Another remedy I use Mayonaise on my good Oak furniture, for sealing cracks or abuse. I once set a live tree on a good table>>>>Later a large spot. Member # 9000 posted                    Witch Hazel is a good astringent and helps with itching. Dip your toothbrush in peroxide and brush to help whiten teeth. To clear doggie "smells" off of hard flooring(vinyl, hardwoods, etc) use a rag wet with vinegar. Peroxide also takes blood out of white clothes. Tobacco wet and put on a sting will reduce swelling and take away some of the pain. I've used liquid blue-ing for glass and mirrors, as well as rubbing alchohol. Either work great. I used peroxide for cleaning toilets, vinegar and water for all surface cleaning. Thanks for sharing the mayonaise trick Dodge... and vanilla for burns is a new one too, thanks Tonya. I'll try the one with liquid joy and essential oil... lets see what goes good with lemon? Member # 6964 posted                    I too would love the hard water rust stain remover solution........ Just wondering if your using Rubbin alchol on you computers and desk tops to clean. If your shower head is cloggy and doesn't spray right anymore, just fill a gallon sized zip lock bag with enough vinegar to cover the nozzle of the head and tie the bag to the head for a couple of hours. The head will spray like its brand new! I also spray our shower with vinegar to get rid of the soap scum. Mayo take away water spots from wood.
