I've been gone so long but I've missed you all. I've been lurking around for a while but haven't had much time to post lately. The new house is coming along on the inside but my gardens are a sad cry from what I had before. It's just going to take time and money so I'm being patient. Sort of. I have a mystery fruit tree that I'm going to post soon in mystery plants. I thought it was an apricot but now I'm not so sure.
The really exciting news is that I'm pregnant with our first baby. We've been married over 10 years and finally decided it was time. I'm nine weeks along now, due Nov. 8. So I need to get out in my yard before I'm too big to bend over.
I'll post pictures of the yard soon too. I'm going to need some ideas for what I call my desert oasis.
Hope all is well with everyone. I noticed Cindy is now a hostess (yay Cindy) and Weezie has close to a million posts. You guys are the best.

Kristen that's fabulous news!!!! Such a wonderful happy time! My best friend just had her first baby and it was so neat watching her grow and get big and then see the baby!

Sorry I disappeared again. I had to make a quick trip to Minnesota for work then Easter weekend went by in a blur. I actually got to go to Minnesota when the temp hit 80*. First time I've been there when it hasn't been freezing. Last time I was sent it was -7*.
Things are going pretty well so far. I'm feeling pretty good most days, just a bit queasy now and then. My first trimester is almost over (two more weeks to go) so hopefully the queasy will be over then too. I haven't told anyone at work yet, will probably do it tomorrow when my boss comes back from vacation.
I'll post some pictures soon. I have a new camera but haven't set up all the software yet. I definitely need some help with the yard. Its a mess.

Hi Kristen, and congratulations on being pregnant. We also are trying for another baby, no luck yet. I also wanted to tell you that I took B-12 vitamins for the morning sickness, I was very sick the first 4 months with our son who is 6 now. Hope you feel better now, & the pregnancy going well. Can't wait to see pics of your desert oasis!
