i'm new to this gardening community and wanted to introduce myself. I enjoy all kinds of gardening as it's a special relief from the daily work grind. I live on 40 acres in rural northern Michigan with my handsome husband. I like reading about other fellow gardener's experiences and hope to increase my knowledge and love of gardening from your website. I cannot imagine life without nature and music....and entwining it all in a peaceful, beautiful space.....wish it was spring here! thank you for sharing a few moments with a frozen gardener from up north......

Hi there happyvalley!!! Welcome to the forum, I'm sure you'll love it here ....I know you have to be freezing up there--my brother lives in Lansing and he was just complaining about the cold weather the other day.....
Glad you found us, and I hope you come and chat with us a lot.....
I got to stay home from work today....was so icy outside, I couldn't get any grip on our road that leads out to the main roads. We are having freezing rain so far this morning. Nothing like enjoying a day of hooky in the gardener's forum....would like to say "thank you" for the nice welcome posts I had received so far...I think I like this place already!! Still trying to get use to the time differences though.......
