I live in Martin Georgia, in the N.E. corner of the state. We retired here in 2000 and live on 45 acres. Though we are retired my husband is busy most of the time planting and tending to lots of blueberry bushes, apple trees and other other fruit trees. I have a vegetable garden I hope to improve each year so I'll have fewer bug and weed problems and more vegetables.
This is zone 7. Some of the soil is very good but most is very bad(clay); so we have a lot of work yet to do. I'm really looking forward to hearing what others are doing on their land.
