Greetings from Massachusetts! Although I love crafting and birding, and I am really passionate about baking, I really am happiest when I am out in the garden. I grew up with green-thumb parents and I learned early how rewarding it is to grow your own fruit and vegetables. I love growing flowers of all types, and put in four roses this year. I am not a novice gardener, but I am far from being an expert. I am already planning my garden for next year and would love to talk amongst other passionate garders! Byrdie

Byrdie, you are definitely in the right place! This might be a gardening website, but we have forums for recipes and cooking, and if you ease down into the Banter Hall you'll probably find Vanessa and Nana cooking up a storm! You're gonna fit right in!

Hi byrdie... I recently dicovered this site and so far it is Very informative, and friendly Everyone seems to be sincere in helping to solve plant problems, recommending other sites, some of the reciepe are to die for, I think I've found a "new Home", I took time to read many, many forums a lot of fun people here that know their"stuff" , I myself am looking forward to getting to know many here ,and following advice(s) given, hopefully I can give back to this community as well valued as I recieve,, WELCOME Byrdie...
