Hi. I have been visiting The Garden Helper for awhile and find it very helpful. I would class myself as an "intermediate" novice gardener.

The first forum I visited was for Frugal Gardeners. I really like that $30 greenhouse. I hope to see more tips on how to garden without spending a bundle. Most of the plants from my garden have come from exchanges and horticulture society sales. I finally have some nice perennials and flowering shrubs, but it'll look quite bare for another few years while the little guys grow!

A "sprouting" interest is in starting plants from seed.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Do you plan to have lots of flowers at your wedding? Some of your own, perhaps?

From experience, don't use bearded iris in your bouquet - they don't stay perky very long!!!

Hi Phloxy Lady,

I like your name. I'm a beginner gardener. I have a government weed patch that i'm planting things in. I keep waiting for them to show up and tell me no no. But they haven't yet so I'm still trying to grow things. Hope to see a lot more of you.

I am using silk flowers for the wedding. I want them to stay "perky" indefinitely. [Big Grin]
