I am making my first Full-Sized Afghan and I am having trouble with adding a different color. I sure hope and pray it will look good in the finished project. :-(
Any help would surely be welcomed.

Are you crocheting or knitting? I know with crochet, I tie the two colors together, leaving about 2 inches and then weave the ends into the pattern as I continue to hide them.

When I do color changes, I do not tie any knots. With the hook having the first color already in place, I pull through a loop of the second color that has already been slip knotted as one would do to start a chain. The pull through makes a tight joining without the hard knot left in the texture of the piece.

Later, like Triss, I weave in all the ends, pulling them slightly before snipping so that the very tip of the cut end springs back into the stitches where it is completely hidden.
