I've just got to brag...

never realized how many gifts a teacher gets!! One for every studyent!!! Today I had to come home with TWO grocery bags full of presents from my kids!!! I was totally surprised when I went into school and my desk was just loaded with gifts! Talk about a perk! [Big Grin]

Jenn that is great you have to be the best teacher. Only had a couple of teachers that we gave gifts to others were crouches and when you gave them a gift they just threw it in the trash which is great on a kids ego you know. Always Remember Mrs. Claunch(high school math) and Mrs. Hamilton (English) they were the most strict teachers and also the sweetest. Of course we knew the families. In the summer worked for Paul (Mrs Claunch Husband) on their farm and ate more at thier house then at home. In winter ran traplines for Mrs. Hamilton's brother Monte and also Caught live rabbits from front rack on his GMC pickup and went to school with his daughter still talk to her she is a lawyer in Las Vegas. You remind me a lot of them from your post's.

Uh, Cindy, their only one....they don't know that they can throw eggs yet! [Big Grin]

And since they are soo young, the presents are really from their parents, but its nice to know how much the parents appreciate us and all....MUCH nicer than hearing what we did wrong over the course of a day! [Roll Eyes]

Oh, I bet they would figure it out if Cindy School Marme was the teacher... [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

I think it is just wonderful that the parents rewarded you for all of the hard work and love you show their children Jenn. I can tell you that we are VERY VERY thankful for Peanut's teachers, aides and bus drivers...all of you together help mold our wee ones!
