Ok well this now gives me 5 windows to keep an eye on. Before the night is over I am going to post somewhere I shouldn't.

As for my Broncos, Patty, at this point I am just happy with a win. And happy Indy lost even if it was to SD.

As long as they beat the Irving cry babies soon to be Arlington cry babies I don't care. Been a Broncos fan since early or mid 70's when I lived in Denver.

And to answer my own questions.

quote:
Ok, so how long have you all been fans?
Longer than I can remember. I could say Bronco before mama and was brought into the world in a family of Denver fans.

quote:
Who are your favorite teams?
Denver, of course. And I root for KC when they are not playing us. Seattle since I live here now and they are not in our division. I also like the Steelers and Green Bay. Am rooting for the Bears this year cuz they have not been in the Superbowl in a while.

quote:
And those you always root against?
I always root against the Radiers and the Cowboys, no matter who they are playing and if they play each other then I don't watch.

The closest team to me is the Chargers, and I like them. I'm a fly by night fan. I'll like a team until they get a coach or player or attitude I can't stand and then adopt another favorite for a season or two. I really just like a good game; close scores with great plays. With all the domed stadiums and astro-turf, I miss the 'olden days' with mud games and snow games and all of the slipping and sliding that went on.

Well Bill, all I can say to that is that the Seahawks have basked in all his money (with their own airplane & better amenities than any of the other teams have) & that treatment must have done wonders, cuz they finally came through for us, [clappy] - so let him bask, I guess! (As long as the peacocks get the SB ring, I think we can let it slide, huh?)

Yes, it is exactly the same, Jimmy........ but if you've been paying attention, THEY'RE THE BEST DANGED MUD HENS IN THE NFC... so what's your point! [tongue] LOL!

Love it, Fernie!! [Wink] [thumb] ... And "How bout dem Bears?" Well, HOW BOUT THEM BEARS!!! (I think it was too cold for the Falcons to get off the bus tonight, poor babies!) I've always liked the Bears.

I agree Tina, that was real football! Now, the injuries are more severe without good ol' Mother Earth to cushion the blows. [Frown]

THey DO still have that, Triss... you were over in the Coffeehouse when the Bears & Falcons played today, so you might not have seen what effects -08* (with the wind-chill factor) had on the game! Probably not a "fun" game for ANYBODY... especially the fans in the Stadium! (I wonder if they sell those hand/foot warmers at the shops in the Stadium concourses over there! I'll bet they DO... & make a fortune on them!)

We did not have that game on here Patty. We got to see the Seahawks this am and the Radiers and Cowboys this afternoon. I missed the snow game.

Oh and even though I am rooting for the Seahawks, they technically are not the best in the league, that would go to Indy, who LOST today!

Well, we'll just see about that! (Stay tuned!) It was only Indy's 1st loss, & you have to admit that the Chargers haven't been too bad this year. (Everybody's desperate at this point, so we're about to get down to the good games now!)

BTW Triss, thanx for posting the photo of your Stadium blanket. I know you were busy when I asked you to put it on this thread, so you didn't have time to say anything about it here... but I think it bears repeating, so I will:

[tongue] I'm a Cowboys fan....lol Always have been, but you know you can't be good every year I guess....Now that nobody on the team is left I've lost a little excitement about football. I miss the Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith days....

I tell you one thing though....I can't stand the Redskins, and most people around here love them....either them, the Steelers, or the Ravens...I don't mind the Ravens...but I can't stand the Redskins...and when the Cowboys and Redskins play there is always a lot of drama around here....Me and my sis are Cowboys fans, my brother is a huge Redskins fan and so is one of my BIL's, my other BIL is a Cowboys fan....so lots of teasing and picking...

I will say they played a terrible game yesterday, I watched it all in misery. [Frown]

But mostly I get excited over Nascar......You should've saw me for the Daytona 500 last year, I was so worked up on the last few laps I thought I was going to pass out.....Of course Jeff Gordon went on to win it..... [thumb]

I was all worked up about that as well but probably not nearly as thrilled as you were about the winner. Only 2 more months!!!

Our house used to be like that when Denver played Oakland as my dad and brothers rooted for the Raiders and mom and I, the Broncos. It was always LOUD!

Triss...the Bear/Falcon game was the night game on ESPN.

I am not a Cowboy fan. As a matter of fact I always root for the Cowboys to lose. But if the Cowboys play the Broncos....then I am a cowboy fan. The Cowboy's quarterback, Drew Bledsoe, played here locally for Washington State and he is just a nice guy.

Indy is top in AFC....Seattle is top in NFC.....at least until the conference finals anyway just before the super bowl.

My sister is a NASCAR nut. But she is a Dale Jr. fan all the way. Jeff Gordon is heresy to her. Isn't it weird how in sports there is the team or guy you love and always a team or guy you hate. Why is there ususally always both?
