just a quick note to let y'all know i'm ok. have a few health issues... nothing i want to talk about right now, but my dr. and i have them well in hand. it just makes it difficult to get on for more then 5 or 10 minutes at the time.
BUT i know how some of you are with apb's and ambler alerts, so i thought i better poke my nose and say hi!

I was up when you called this morning... ...but couldn't hear you! Then when you called back I guess it went straight to voice mail for some reason...didn't even ring. I should have expected that...it's the new replacement phone I just got from Cingular two days ago...replacing the last one that wouldn't work.

ok, i did talk to cindy... and i am better... part of my "issues" seem to have resolved themselves...
the long term, drag me out, make me tired all the time issue is the ruptured ear drum. it is draining as i type, and i won't go any farther than that. i go to the ENT friday am to see if there is anything that can be done, this is 4 months this time that it hasn't healed.
the short term issue that kept me off the board was that i found a lump, under my arm, beneath my armpit... (read breast tissue). i went to the dr and she said she was sure it was phlebitis (a blood clot in a blood vein causing swelling and pain/soreness). she prescribed motrin and heat round the clock. after 2 and a half weeks, the lump seems to be gone, the pain is anyway.
i am going to go back in a couple of weeks to let her check it to be sure, but i can't find it anymore. i didn't say anything because while i knew y'all would be supportive, i really didn't want to talk about it. and since i know that God always knows what prayers are for, even if we don't, knowing y'all missed me was enough.
now, mel, you said if cindy didn't want a call that early, you did. well, i can't call if i don't have a phone number
and anyone else who wouldn't mind a random call can pm me your number, i might call once every couple of months or once every couple of weeks, but not usually more often than that. and unless i know it is ok, i only call during "normal" (9am-9pm) hours.
ok, going to go read some more, and then hit the sack... tired again.

Well you sure have been going through a lot and you have been on the minds of many and in our thoughts and prayers as well. I am so glad that things are getting better and hope that you can get that ear fixed up. I am sure it is quite painful having seen how it has affected my own kiddos.

Jiffy...you have been in my thoughts and prayers constantly. I hope you get your medical problems behind you soon. We sure miss you around here. Me and Loz have been holding down the fort... ...I am still "me" and she is keeping me in line!

Jiffy..that is the wonderful thing around here...you don't have to be specific about what is going on...and you will STILL get the support you need from us! Just knowing that you had some issues you were dealing with was enough for us to know you needed our thoughts and prayers...and you got em!!! ANd..will continue to get em!!! We miss you...and want you to hurry home to your little chickens here...

Jiffy - I'm so glad you are well enough to be here, and share what you've been going through. I wish I had known more of what you were going through, but certainly understand your reasoning. Please know that if you ever need an ear, shoulder, or hug - you've got it!
Ruptured ear drums are the worst! I can't imagine having one for such a long period! Brian had 5, by the time he was 7 years old - the last being the night I gave birth to Amy! I also have had my share of them - not fun at all!
As for the other... well, you know where I've been with that, and am sorry you had to experience that as well. I hope you get a 100% clean bill of health on your return visit, and can put this in your past, and hang out with us crazies!
loz has done a wonderful job keeping us all in line. As for Cindy Sue Who... well... she's been in rare form!
