A long time ago when I was searching for inexpensive but delicious treats I could put in very small jars, I found that site. And, I've learned many things just by reading there.
They even have recipes for flavored coffee creamers.
And a bunch of nice printable stuff, too.

I'm thinking of trying the coffee creamers as jar gifts because so many of my friends go in for those fancy things in their coffee...

I've had that 7 bean soup, too, Sheri. But in OH I used to be able to buy a bag of what was known as Ozark Soup -- 16 beans and all the seasonings. It was wonderful stuff. They do not sell it up here, though.
So I was pleased to have found this site which has jarred ingredients for soups as well as breads. I think they are thoughtful gifts, especially in the winter when there are days when no one wants to really go out in the weather just to pick up something for dinner or a special treat.

Vanessa ~ I think you SHOULD also post your recipes! Gifts such as these have so very many variations, someone might prefer your version over another. It never hurts to have LOTS of good ideas!

I think I am going to do gift baskets of them. A bread, a soup, a dessert in the large jars and then flavored coffee and creamer in smaller ones.

Thanks for posting the link Merme... A friend has a book with alot of different Jar mixes, which I copied some of them, but the ones at that link are different then the ones I have, So I add some of them to my list of mixes I want to try to get down before Xmas.

Christina, that is a REALLY hard question because I've made oodles of things for other people based on what I knew they would like. I never tried them myself because of my many dietary restrictions but from all the rave reviews I've heard about the taste and quality, plus the ease I had accomplishing each recipe in an attractive manner, I've never been disappointed.
I always thought it would have been too bad to spend on so many nice individual ingredients and then ruin them by the poorly devised combination, you know?
Does your grandma have a fondness for anything in particular?

Merme, I've decided on 3 Soups: Chicken Noodle, Friendship Soup and Minestroni. 1 Muffin: Apple Bran. 1 Bread: Banana 1 Cookie (haven't decide yet) 1 Snack Mix which I've made many a' times 4 Herb Mixtures which I've also made many a' times
I've seen many different recipes for the soups but I just want to make sure they all taste great. Wouldn't want to disappoint Grandma. I suppose I could just try them?? or maybe someone will be along with some great recipes they've tried. Thanks again Merme!
