So, this morning I got a great idea for a gift to give Stephen's mom and dad for Christmas. As a child, we went to alot of plays that were put on by a place called Sight and Sound. They started in a tiny little building and got soo big and had such a demand for viewing their plays, that they had to build a new theatre. After the theatre was built, they continued to have an overwhelming demand for their plays. One evening, a fire started in the theatre and damaged quite a bit of the theatre. They rebuilt, calling it The Millenium Theatre. They do plays from things in the Bible....Noah, Behold the Lamb (the life of Christ), Christmas, Ruth...stuff like that. Here is a link to their site...the first thing that comes up is a picture of the theatre. We are going to get them tickets to see Behold the Lamb in March. I'm very excited! Do you think it is a good idea? They'd have to come down for the entire weekend, which doesn't happen very often...so that would be nice.

Oh that sounds like a really nice present. And the added bonus of getting them down for a visit....really nice.

Yeah! We will probably go to a 7:45 showing, so we'll go out for dinner before the show. It will be 2 1/2 hours long. I can't wait!

I saw Noah there with my children several years ago (tickets were a gift from my parents). It was a spectacular show and as an added benefit the cow peed (big time) in the middle of the show and my kids laughed for days about it. We bought a Christmas ornament that reminds me of the trip every time I look at it. Sounds like a great gift to me.

I saw Noah also. I've seen most of the shows they do...except for a couple of the newer ones like Ruth and the Psalms of David. Right now if you go to see the Christmas program, they will let you go out to the barns and stables and see the animals that they use in the play. I thought that was cool. The didn't use to let you do that.
