Well poot! I didn't realize this turned out so small. Barley sent Peanut some flippy frogs...and it's a good darn thing! He came in from school all outta whack today and I could not figure out what was wrong with him. So when I opened the box and got in the floor with the flippy frogs...his whole countenance changed! WHEW!!!! Just in time Barley!!!! Thank you so much....P~nutty sends you a big ol' hug!!!!

Thank you Sheri...he is precious...and very special. As far as doing better...I can see some differences but I think it is going to take a while. Like for instance today when he came in from school...he wouldn't let me take his hat or coat off...until almost 7:30pm. He wouldn't eat and he screamed for 2.5 hours...and I never did figure out what he wanted. I put him to bed at 7:50...he has already had 3 night terrors and I just now was able to leave the room. It will eventually get better...and we will start to see some results. I question whether he will ever be able to "talk" other than just communicating through "sounds"...because even in his jabbers you can tell there is a big problem, But...I am praying that the speech therapy helps a bunch.

I couldn't decide whether to post this here or in the highlights thread...because it qualified for both places!!! Today Peanut got a SURPRISE box from his Garden Ant Cinja. And...it had 2 more of his FAVORITE toys in it...
I tried for a solid hour to get a good pic that wasn't blurred...but he was SO excited he wouldn't be still! We can go buy him a toy...he wont look at it...Garden Ant Cinja can send him a prize...well...I think you can tell his reaction!!!! I just have to say again...I don't know what I would do without you!!! It was such a HIGHLIGHT to see him smile...sniff... sniff..

I found some more of them the other day and bought evey pack they had! That way when they get dirty or torn up, Vanessa can just get a fresh one for him.

I think you have nailed it right there! She's a GENIUS!!!!! DID YOU SEE THAT FACE???? He rarely EVER smiles or laughs.....he has had a blast that little gardening boy! He's gonna be a natural with the flowers!!!!! We have just sat and watched him enjoy those flowers..he had the same reaction with the other 2 she sent before...carries them everywhere. Awesome picture Vanessa. You can tell he is filled with joy. Great gift there Cindy and you gave Vanessa an even more precious gift than the ones you sent Peanut. Today was our appt with the new Doc that will be overseeing Peanut's further testing and care. Let me tell you...this guy is a JEWEL!!! We absolutely love him! He is suppose to be the best in the state with these special kiddos and I believe he is! They are scheduling the EEG & MRI for Taylor...so I don't have a date just yet, but do know that it will be at the hospital because he will have to be under anesthesia..(I hate that part) He also is starting P~Nutty on some medication to help with the night terrors WOO HOO~IEEE...here comes SLEEP!!!! That is a MAJOR relief! He said we may have to play with it a bit to get it regulated just right. He sang the praises of Peanut's school and was absolutely elated that we already had him started there. He is a very kind and attentive man...and no one will ever know what a relief that is to me. Taylor's Dr. from where we moved always acted "afraid" of him...when I would call to try to get him in they would tell me to take him to the hospital..in 2 years with as much as he had wrong going on they only saw him 3 times..it was awful!!!So, I am much relieved and feel like a HUGE load has been lifted off my shoulders. Thank you all for ALL of your prayers..I think we are seeing great results from them!!!!

Thanks Jimmy! You know it feels so GOOD for things to be going in a positive direction for a change!!! I am SO thankful for the help that Peanut is getting and we are already starting to tell a difference in him. Over the week~end my sis said he was just like a different child..she was so tickled at the difference!

Triss, my sis was AMAZED at the difference in Peanut over the Thanksgiving holiday...although I keep her updated and talk to her several times a day...she just had no idea the difference the treatment is making with him. Although we still have a very long way to go...we have certainly come a very long way already. It makes me really put out with myself when I complain about this tin can we are in...I am VERY thankful that we are here...and it is better than when I thought we were going to have to live in the van to get here!!! I certainly do not EVER mean to sound ungrateful in any way...I just get frustrated...

While you may have the blessing of having Peanut where he needs to be, YOU are not yet in a place YOU need to be and so it is ok to be frustrated and upset about that. He has 4 flowers right now...so I limit which ones he carries to school with him...(yes, he HAS to take them to school...and NO...they had never seen any either...so YES...he is quite a hit with the flowers!!! ) Garden Ant Cindy had mentioned maybe putting some back so when he wears these out he will still have some...so I'm leavin it up to you Barley....this is all new stuff to me....

They don't do a darn thing but bend any way he wants them to! They are bright, fuzzy, soft and cheery and from Garden Ant Cinja and that is all I can tell you...he has a FIT when he opens the package and there are FLOWERS!!! He carries them everywhere and loves on them like they are a baby. He's gonna have a green thumb I tell ya...

Peanut is a bit better...still croopy, coughing and congested...but holding his own right now. Trying to get him in to see the Doc before it gets worse...but we will have to work with the weather etc...for that to happen. So far it isn't "bad" here...just icey roads etc..but still passable. So he did get to go to school yesterday and today. If he isn't running fever I HAVE to send him...even though I would much rather keep him home and baby him....
