Monday I am leaving for Ocean City MD for a week, we'll be coming home on Saturday.... [clappy]

Monday night I'm going to try to find the live web cam on the boardwalk so if you want to possibly see me live on Monday check out the link....It'll be about 7 pm....All of my friends are going to be watching, I said I better make sure I look nice--who knows how many people will see me. [Big Grin]

I'm super busy this weekend, between a retirement party to go to and laundry, and packing(yes I know--procrastinator here.... [Razz]

Oooooh, loz, I'm soooo jealous! [Razz]

We went there 7 years ago, the last week in August. The year Hurricane Bonnie came up the coast. We were staying in the only place that had an indoor pool (figured that would be good in case of inclement weather

), but because it was on the top floor completely surrounded by windows, they shut it down because of the anticipated high winds. [shocked]

We, and mostly everyone there, checked out a few days early, as the entire town was shutting down. With nothing to do - beaches were closed and pool chairs were thrown INTO the pools so they wouldn't blow away, we got out before a mandatory evacuation, to beat the traffic. Bonnie wasn't so bad there afterall, but better safe than sorry!

What's the weather like there this time of year?
Is it still warm enough to go swimming?
It really cooled down here, and we're about to put the heat on at night, once we vacuum out the baseboards.

Hope you have a wonderful time - find some pretty shells for me, ok?

I had a HUGE post with comments for all of you but I put too many graemlins and it went bye bye... [Eek!]

Weather should be okay...highs around 80...Won't be swimming in the ocean, but we will in the indoor pool.....

Weezie and Cindy, it's time you both had a vacation!!!!! Oh and yes, it's 7pm Eastern time! You'll see us easy, I'll be the one towering over the short guy(mark) [Big Grin]

Heading out for a while now. Lunch at moms, have to come back and make lasgna for my MIL's retirement party, do laundry, and pack some stuff, and clean, and bring things off the porch that I don't want people to steal while I'm gone....You just never know what the teens around here will do....it's a safe area, just teens doing stupid stuff.

I can't wait to go.....I'm ordering up some room service for sure....yep, I am!!! I don't care how much it costs, I'm splurging on it....LOL

I'm taking a packing break right now....

Retirement party last night was great, my MIL was so shocked....get this, she even made 2 covered dishes!!! For her own party....Of course she didn't know it was for her, she thought it was for her best friend....And my lasagna I made was a big hit! It was ALL gone and everyone liked it....I was worried about that because all the women in his family are great cooks.....

Hey guys, I'm in an internet cafe...and yes, that was me in the pink hat and shirt....I couldn't figure out exactly where the cam was pointing and where I should stand...I'm just glad bill could see me, even if it were just a few seconds....

I'm having a great time...it's hot today, in the 80's!!!!!! I've bought TONS of stuff, don't know how I'm going to fit it in the suitcases....

Miss you all....I'm only paying for 15 minutes of time, so I have to go...
