Author Garden: Who's still mowing lawns? Magnolia4moi Great Gardener Member # 7402 posted                    I have to admit, I like my yard (4 acres) picture perfect (like a golf course). I have alot of pines & oaks so I mow year round. Something I enjoy. Yesterday, out mowing & wishing the oaks that still have leaves to fall would hurry up & fall. LOL As far as the pinestraw, it is used as mulching around the shrubs & in flower beds.
