Applescruff I used to sew more than I do now.Did all the halloween costumes,Christmas outfits, was very fun. And I had good intentions on learning to quilt this winter but its gotten away on me now.But I do crochet and retaught myself to knit this winter but never made anything tho.But I want to know, what is the difference between sewing and weaving?I thought they were terms that meant the same thing.Maybe I know how to weave and just dont know it.It could go on my list of domestic capabilities!!!!

Weave as in to produce cloth from the basic components: string and more string. This generally implies the use of a loom either hand loom, table loom, or flyshuttle. This website has a picture of a loom: http://www.berea.edu/galleryV/Coverlet.HTML Actually, that's where I work, although it's a lot less warehouse-y now.
