when posting in the garden helper forum, please note the following:
long posts that are actually covering a bunch of topics should be broken up. old folks like me lose interest real quick.
short posts are not only easier to read, but they are easier to categorize.
try to post in the appropriate category.
There are 5 administrators for this site and nearly 4000 members. generally we gardeners do a good job of behaving properly so more are not needed.
Any future requests for forums should be posted ONLY ONCE in the constructive critism area. if it is feasible, it may happen, if not, there is a good reason why not - whether or not the reason is posted publicly

It seems like if I post something, it ends up going every direction in the world after the replies start coming. Guess we get a little off subject.......
We start out about Wal-Mart and end up on songs that stick in your head..... I don't know how it happens.......

i should clarify my earlier post...
this doesn't apply to the following:
posts in banter hall that tell a complete story or relay general information
posts in any other category that are cohesive (they stay on track - the post itself) and/or have pertinent info to the topic.
if a topic is broad, then perhaps if your post is very long and disjointed, a new topic should be started for each segment with more direct headers.
and, for all the story tellers, we aren't trying to muzzle you, but rather, keep the stories where they belong so the folks who just pop in for information can get it quickly.
and again, thank you all for being wonderful and understanding!
