Hi everyone! My name is Edgard, but you can call me Eddy. I live in Brazil, a very nice country with an outstanding flora, as you may know. I guess I'm the first member of the forum from South America. I grow mainly orchids, bromeliads, succulents and cacti. Living on the 10th floor of a building, I'm forced to keep my plants on the windows sills and inside my bathroom, around the bathtube. I'm happy to be a member of this nice forum. My best wishes from this side of the world!

Hi! Welcome to the forum! Do you have a lot of wild parrots in Brazil? Whenever I picture Brazil, I picture parrots for some reason! Nice to meet you! Cindy

Hi you two! Thanks for the welcome. Glad to be here. Yes, we still have lots of wild parrots in Brazil. In Minas Gerais State, where I live, we have some beautiful species of parrots, toucans, lovebirds and other beautiful birds.

Welcome to the site! Wow! I love orchids but haven't tried growing any, yet. I used to think they were very hard to grow but I've found that there are some that don't take a whole lot of care. When I get my pond in, I'm going to try to incorporate some orchids!

Hi Eddy! Welcome to the forum! Its wonderful to have so many people from all over the world here. Maybe sometime you can give me advice on my succulents. I live in Kentucky, in the U.S., so I've never seen one growing wild! See you on the message boards.
