I love to fish....usually around here we catch bass or catfish....It's so relaxing to just sit there....doesn't even matter if I catch anything or not...I pack a picnic when we go and we stay for hours....Can't wait for spring to come so we can go....it's getting pretty cold now... [wayey]

I went fishing for about 1 1/2 hours this morning after dropping son off at bus stop.FA says good morning fishing....I'm fishing watching these ducks 2 groups not too small.kinda like them mallsrds is best I can tell ya.i watch this large mouth bass eat a duck!.he hopped out of water and duck went under...he didn't come back up.i only stayed about 20 minutes or so after that.I don't think they eating worms today.is fishes thanksgiveing of duck a la mode.might need to catch me some crickets

i do got a pretty good fish story though.was when lived up indpls so was a pay lake out in Martinsville IN.me& hubby both fishng with a few others too.he says were going in 15 minutes...so he's fishing on top with bobber& i'm bottom fishing.I decide since seen something hit his bob would go over there and tossed down and in 5 or so miutes i had a hit.I started pulling then he thought he had a hit so fish is almost to shore and his brother says our lines are tangled.he walks out there and gets the fish with net...MY hook was in in side of his mouth His was down his throat....he STILL trys to say is his FISH.....was a 9 lb catfish & that same place a yr before he seen fish come up to water edge where lantern was.he took pole not useing with worm baited on it& hung over fishes head and he hopped out of water onto the worm& was caught.was a small crappie.don't even think he hit 2 lbs
We went with his brother once out in same area but is white river but is like a creek area and we were up on cliff over hanging water& you had to walk & carry everything for 20 minutes....this is at night mind you..LOL we caught a few fish..(don't eat fish out of white river)his brother caught on to something huge....A turtle.A turtle size of a dog.luckily he had a strong line on and a metal lead thinggy from saltwater fishing here in TX(at time he was not liveing INDY was in 4 raceMay) it bought pulled him in river lantern went in river..wa s the only only one we had.we got the turtle out of water down river a bit.we passed rod over trees a couple times.Actually found lantern downriver and was still burning.I was voteing for killing it but none of them wanted too.they said wasn't carrying that big mug
I like to eat fish.catfish, trout, bass LOVE crappie.I got fish recipies.like pike but pike not down here [perplexed] like saltwater fish too.love seafood.down here in TX crawfish is part of thanksgiving meal
