Garden: what kind of trees are these?

this is actually three shots of two different trees, the second one being a closeup of the first.
I'm looking around for trees that would look cool in bonsai fashion.

They look like Deodar Cedars to me. Cedrus deodara.

I noticed the first one was taller and less compact, but they still look like the same tree. so you think they're both the same species?

The second tree has multiple trunks, that's why it appears broader and more compact.
