I had a small flowering bush in my garden and the pink blooms smelled just like bubblegum. I do not remember the name of the plant and for some reason it didn't come back this year. I know it was a perennial because I had it for 3 years. Can anyone please help me with this? It was a small compact bush, standing about 2' high and 2' wide. Nice green leaves, and pretty pink blooms all summer that the hummingbirds loved.

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!

Thank you so much for your help. I was lucky and found the plant at a local nursery thanks to your help and now it is planted in the garden. The hummingbirds and butterflies love this plant, as well as many guests. I prefer unique flowers that attract birds and this is certainly a unique flower. Again, thank you for your help!!!
