Is this a new seedling? Looks like a very common tree. Can anyone tell me what it is? I have about 3 or 4 (maybe more) all in the same vicinity.

Cool! I have a silver leaf maple but don't see any maple trees in around my yard (maybe I'm just not looking, lol)so, I don't know where they came from. I'll let em grow a little & then try to move them. Thanks, everyone!

Try Manitoba Maple.

That has nothing to do with Manitoba, by the way - as far as I know the name has nothing to do with the province.

I've also heard it called 'scrub maple'.

We've had a lot of that here on the lot.

An arborist had to come in once to remove some of the trees - if he had his way they would have been all chopped down - I'm glad nobody let him do it.
