I live in North Carolina and in my yard is a vine the is growing up my fence. It started out with leaves and looked as if it was going to bloom from these star shaped purple flowers but instead they produced a strang fruit or vegetable. It looks alot like the "star fruit" or carambola, but I think they grow on trees. Help... I have not been able to figure this out!
